Without a minimum passing score of #150 on the external examination, we have sad, but expected results. In every medical university of the country, students who have a certificate from the external examination lower than 150 points are studying, - the Acting Minister wrote about this on her Facebook page. "Students whose minimum score in a specialized subject is 100 even entered the study. This means that they lacked the motivation to master the school curriculum at least at an intermediate level. The big question is whether they will have the perseverance to learn to work with human life. Once again, we insist that 150 points is the basic level that a student who wants to become a doctor must have. Medical universities of Ukraine must have students who are ready to work hard to master a difficult profession. This is necessary so that in the future we will be treated by worthy doctors," Ulyana Suprun notes.

She also informed that the specialized committee is currently discussing the proposal regarding the passing score of the external examination.

"The result will be announced on October 15. We will fight for an admissions system that will guarantee that the most capable people will get the profession of a doctor," stressed the acting director. Minister of Health Ulyana Suprun.
