The day before, a memorandum was signed between UTSOYAO and Cambridge English Language Assessment.
Head of the Assessment Department in Northern Europe, Gillian Horton-Kruger, and Sambridge English Language Assessment consultant in Ukraine, Daryna Sizhuk, noted the high level of English language tests in previous years.
After conducting an analysis of the tasks from the external examination, the representatives of the department gave several recommendations.
First, selecting authentic texts and editing them for reading tasks.
Secondly, the introduction of additional types of tasks, for example, the use of closed type tests or reformulation of sentences.
The signed agreement will significantly affect the quality of learning English in Ukraine, as well as the development of the program in general.
