It is recommended to close 17 metropolitan schools for quarantine due to the flu and SARS, the department's website reports.
"In order to prevent the further spread of influenza and ARVI diseases in general educational institutions of the city and to prevent the weekly epidemic thresholds from being exceeded, we propose to temporarily ban the educational process until March 6," the message states.
The authorized body recommends quarantine to such educational institutions as: SZSh No. 150 (approximately 26 % absent due to illness), SZSh No. 151 (28 % patients), No. 81 (27 % patients), No. 137 (30 % patients), No. 325 (29 % patients), "Divosvit" Kindergarten (almost 32 % patients), Hospital No. 249 (31 % patients).
In particular, it is recommended to close for a week ZNZ No. 251 (almost 26 % sick schoolchildren), SZSH No. 18 (39 % sick), the Lyceum of Tourism (30 % sick), the "Potential" Gymnasium (29 % sick), Kyiv-Pechersk Lyceum "Leader ” (29 % patients), ZNZ No. 10 (30 % patients), SZSh No. 72 (25 % patients), Secondary School No. 115 (32 % patients), SZSh No. 164 (27 % patients) and Boarding School No. 17 (36 % patients).
