The day before, the Ukrainian center for evaluating the quality of education was left without a director, because the application for the dismissal of Ihor Likarchuk was accepted. Recently, he applied for dismissal twice.

"After the events of July 21, after the events in Ivano-Frankivsk, after the release of my son, I do not see the possibility of continuing to work in the team that is in power today. Therefore, I am re-submitting my resignation from the position of director of the UTSOYAO. Please understand me correctly. I must emphasize that every day the chances of a successful ZNO-2016 are melting away, - notes Ihor Likarchuk on his Facebook page. - I do not want to be a participant in the process of destroying external evaluation. But I will be very happy if it doesn't happen. Besides, I don't want to be made into an indispensable person - not at all. There are no irreplaceable people," Ihor Likarchuk said.  

He also addressed his friends and colleagues with a request: "Dear friends. I am asking each of you not to ask me questions about the ZNO-2016 of any content or direction. First of all, in the near future, I do not plan to deal with the external examination issues, even remotely. Therefore, any of my answers may be wrong. Second. I do not want, even in the form of comments, to interfere with the preparation and conduct of the ZNO-2016. And I will not evaluate any situations that will arise around him. Because I consider such actions unethical. Third. It is psychologically difficult for me to answer such questions."
