The detection of cases of respiratory diseases in students depends on the school management.
So, during the press briefing, the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov answered the question of what the school's action protocol is if 2 or more people with suspected COVID-19 are found and who should identify these people.
"These rules are quite clearly defined. The Ministry of Health developed these rules together with the Ministry of Education and Science. In these rules, it is determined that it is up to the school management, this duty to detect, to observe the relevant rules and to detect children with signs of respiratory diseases. How to measure the temperature, how to contact hospitals, in what terms. All this is clearly defined," Stepanov said.
He also added that the responsibility for compliance with sanitary standards also lies with the management and owners of the school.
"The sanitary norms and rules that have been developed must be followed. Because the safety of our students depends on the fulfillment of these norms. That's why we put this responsibility on school management," explained the minister.
