The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine unanimously supported the Resolution on the procedure for banking services of higher educational institutions, scientific institutions and cultural institutions. Minister of Education and Science Serhii Kvit wrote about this on Facebook. The minister noted that this resolution has revolutionary significance for the development of science and education.

"The government unanimously supported the resolution on the procedure for banking services of higher educational institutions, scientific institutions and cultural institutions. This happened on the eve of the first anniversary of the adoption of the law "On Higher Education" (August 6). This decision actually opens the financial autonomy of universities and has revolutionary significance for the development of science and education in Ukraine," he wrote.

It will be recalled that on July 26, 2015, Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed the citizens of the country about the reforms and activities of the government in the education system on the air of seven Ukrainian TV channels in the program "10 minutes with the Prime Minister". As the Head of the Government noted, financial autonomy will enable higher education institutions to use their funds independently. This is a new model of education that makes it possible to form high-quality higher education institutions.
