In Ukraine, parents will be able to use the electronic service "e-malyuk". This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The government will introduce an electronic service - an electronic baby. Families with newborns will be able to issue documents for the child, benefits, and other documents online.
Our main goal is to help parents so that there are more Ukrainians," the head of government said.
In 2019, the aid program "Baby Package" will undergo significant changes - first of all, in terms of issuance.
On December 27, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the resolution "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 20, 2018" was adopted on the notorious "baby package" - one-time assistance for young mothers. The aid is a box with things for a baby up to six months old.
Now, the format of issuing such a box will be under the control of a social service worker, and in addition, the Cabinet of Ministers has significantly worked out the terms of issuing the "baby package" to parents.
Earlier it became known that Ukrainians are starting to mass sell "baby packages", also known as baby boxes, on online classifieds platforms.
For some citizens, this help from the state is now becoming irrelevant.
The main rule for receiving this type of social assistance is that parents receive the "baby package" immediately upon discharge from the maternity hospital. If it is not available in the maternity hospital, then one of the parents fills out an application for receipt and comes to the social security department for the package a little later, but no later than two weeks after the birth of the child.
In addition, it should be taken into account that the "baby package" is issued to the mother regardless of whether she gave birth at home or in a maternity hospital, as well as in a state or private hospital: everyone will receive a "baby package". Such assistance is reserved for a child who is rejected by his relatives - the child goes for adoption and the adopter receives a "baby package" together with him.
