In early October, second-year students will receive a notification in the Diia app about the extension of their grant support.

The programme applies to those who have already received a grant in 2024, are continuing their studies and have no academic or financial debts. The Ministry of Education and Science reported that technical preparations for the implementation of this stage are currently being completed.

"All those who meet the conditions of the experiment will receive certificates for extension," the Ministry stressed.

Students need to wait for the certificate to appear in Diia and confirm it within the specified timeframe. It is also worth making sure that there are no debts at the educational institution in advance.

In case of a change of speciality or institution, the grant is retained: The Ministry of Education and Science reissues it for a new programme. Starting in March 2025, such students will first have their grant re-issued and then extended.

Both stages require confirmation of the certificate in the Diia app.
