Priority registration of .UKR domain names began on January 4, 2014. This final stage of registration will take place within a month. At this stage, those domains that are formed on the basis of the names and surnames of well-known cultural figures in Ukraine (science, education, art, literature) and their creative pseudonyms, religious figures (in the practice of using their names in accordance with the rank together with the form) are allowed for registration addressing, including in the exclamatory form), politicians, economists, athletes, information about which is included in encyclopedias, directories, dictionaries, catalogs, and also has a wide spread of information about them in the Ukrainian mass media.

At this stage, those domain names that meet the criteria determined at the previous stages, namely firms (commercial names) of enterprises and entrepreneurs, other legal entities, are allowed for registration; trademarks (marks for goods and services); geographical indications of origin of goods; names of geographical objects and regions in Ukraine (names of cities, towns, district centers and cities in district centers with non-repeating names); names of countries (states) of the world and international organizations; names of international organizations; names of state authorities and local self-government bodies and others.

 After the fifth, final stage, the registration of .UKR domain names will become available to everyone.
