First-year students receive electronic certificates for educational grants in Diia. The funds are transferred directly from the Ministry of Education and Science to a special account of the higher education institution to pay for the contractual education - in full or in part.

The basis for funding is the certificate confirmed in Diya and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science on granting the grant. The student does not receive any money.

The amount of the grant depends on the results of the NMT:

• from 150 points (or 140 for specialities with special support) - a first-level grant from UAH 17,000 per year;
• from 170 points - a second-level grant from UAH 25,000 per year.

The amount may be increased due to the support coefficients for certain specialities. Information on the amount and basis of the grant is indicated in the certificate. If you change your study programme, the grant will remain in place, but its amount may change.

First-year students need to check the Diia (update the app if necessary) and confirm the certificate by 25 October. Payment will be made in two stages: 50% by 1 December and another 50% by 1 April. Students will receive a notification in Diia about the transfer of funds.
