According to the KMDA, the collection of children's books has already begun in the capital's schools as part of the all-Ukrainian campaign "100,000 books for the village library".

"The main wave of book collection lasts from April 2 to 17. Since today is only the first day of the new quarter, Kyiv schoolchildren join the campaign from this very day. Book collection points are located not only in the capital's schools, but also in the KMDA premises and some bookstores. Their full list can be found on the website of the initiator - the Darina Zholdak Foundation," said the Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Hanna Starostenko, and also called on all interested Kyivites to join the campaign.
