The Council for the Development of Vocational Education has been established under the President of Ukraine.

The relevant decree was signed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The main tasks of the new body will be the analysis of legislation in the field of professional education and the preparation of proposals for its improvement, forecasting of priority directions and ways of development of professional education, as well as the development of proposals for the formation of modern professional competencies in the field of professional education.

In addition, it is planned that the created council will work out issues related to strengthening the capacity of vocational education institutions, including improving their financing mechanisms.

The Council will function as a consultative and advisory body under the President of Ukraine.

The personal composition of the Council will be approved by the President of Ukraine.
