Today, Ukraine has mastered distance education no worse than other countries.

This was stated by the Minister of Education Serhii Shkarlet during the participation in the forum "Ukraine 30. Corona virus: challenges and answers".

According to him, the Ministry of Education works daily on the implementation of educational platforms and various online applications.

"Adaptation of the education system to the quarantine took place in conditions of lack of time for preparation. No one was prepared for the obstacles that COVID-19 presented to society. I want to thank all educators, students and their parents for having worthily overcome and are currently overcoming all the challenges that the pandemic poses to us. Thank you for prompt adaptation to completely new, one might say, extreme conditions during the educational process," the minister noted.

He also noted that, together with partners, work is currently underway to create new educational online platforms, provide schools with computer equipment and the Internet.

In addition, Skarlet noted that the Ministry of Education and Culture has prepared the regulatory framework necessary for effective distance and mixed education. In particular, the Regulation on the remote form of obtaining secondary education, as well as recommendations on the organization of current, semester control and certification of education recipients.
