When using technical teaching aids during the lesson, teachers should alternate the types of educational activities and not exceed the specified duration of students' work with technical aids.
The relevant norms are contained in the new Sanitary Regulations for general secondary education institutions, which entered into force on January 1 of this year.
In particular, the continuous duration of educational activities with a technical means of learning for students of the 1st grade cannot exceed 10 minutes, for students of the 2nd - 4th grades - no more than 15 minutes.
Pupils of grades 5-7 can work with the technical means of learning for no more than 20 minutes during one lesson.
For students of grades 8-9, this interval cannot exceed 20-25 minutes.
High school students can use technical teaching aids for up to 30 minutes in the 1st hour of classes, 20 minutes in the 2nd hour of classes. At the same time, with double study sessions for students of 10-11(12) grades, no more than 25-30 minutes in the first study session and no more than 15-20 minutes in the second study session.
After classes with the use of technical teaching aids, teachers should conduct motor activity exercises and eye gymnastics exercises.
