The Ministry of Education intends to provide additional mechanisms that will ensure that the admissions campaign is conducted remotely as much as possible.
Deputy Minister of Education and Science Yehor Stadnyi told about this during the online conference.
According to him, the absolute majority of entrants, including entrants to the master's degree, will submit electronic applications to the university.
"Also, beneficiaries will have less need to travel to universities, because previously they submitted documents about their benefits in person, now we are realizing the possibility that such documents could be sent to one university, which will enter them into the database, and beneficiaries will not have to drive them to other universities," Yehor Stadny said.
In addition, for students who will be enrolled in contract places, the Ministry of Education will provide for the remote submission of original applications.
Applicants who will submit original applications for budget places will have the opportunity to either submit the application in person, or submit the original application by mail, if the applicant will not be able to come to the university.
To implement this option, the Ministry of Education and Science will extend the period for submission of original applications from entrants who will be recommended for study.
