President Petro Poroshenko signed the Law of Ukraine "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Finland on the implementation of the project "Finnish support for Ukrainian school reform", adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 3, 2018.
On June 21, 2018, the Minister of Education Liliya Hrynevych announced this. "The agreement provides for EUR 6 million in non-refundable aid. And this money will be directed first of all to improving the qualifications of teachers, in particular improving training in pedagogical universities," she wrote.
The agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Finland on the implementation of the project "Finnish support for Ukrainian school reform" was signed on March 5, 2018 in Kyiv.
The document is the legal basis for the effective implementation of the project "Finnish support for Ukrainian school reform" and the attraction of technical assistance funds from the Government of Finland to support the reform of general secondary education in Ukraine.
