Specialists of the Ukrainian Center for the Assessment of the Quality of Education have prepared the manual "PISA: Natural and Scientific Literacy" for publication.
The publication contains a summary of the most important theoretical and methodological provisions of the framework document of the PISA international comparative study for assessing the natural and scientific literacy of 15-year-olds.
The guide is supplemented with tasks that were used in the studies of previous PISA cycles and in which the theoretical provisions on the essence of scientific literacy and the principles of its measurement outlined in the framework document are implemented.
The manual also contains a separate section with tasks and characteristics related to their evaluation, as well as a section with tasks that can be used by teachers in school practice.
The publication is intended for a wide range of educators - teachers, pedagogic scientists, methodologists, authors of textbooks and teaching aids in natural and scientific disciplines, specialists in the field of educational measurements, as well as for pupils and students of secondary general education institutions.
