The Government has published Resolution No. 23 "On Amendments to Certain Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine" on increasing the maximum amount of allowance for teaching staff from 20 to 30 %, adopted on January 11, 2018.

Thus, the document states that the right to establish an allowance in the amount of up to 30% from January 1, 2018 has the heads of general secondary education institutions, their deputies, whose positions are classified as pedagogical workers, teachers and lecturers of vocational (vocational-technical) and of higher education, which teach subjects in accordance with the relevant State standard of general secondary education.

Also, on January 1, 2018, an allowance of at least 20% was established for teaching staff of schools in which the state standard of primary education will be tested in accordance with the Concept of State Policy Implementation in the Reform of General Secondary Education "New Ukrainian School" for the period until 2029 and its implementation will be carried out. teachers of the Ukrainian language in schools with instruction in the languages of national minorities.

An allowance of up to 30% can be set for other teaching staff from September 1, 2018.
