UAH 1 billion, 150 million, 101 thousand UAH are planned to be spent in 2018 on the continuation of programs to improve the educational infrastructure - the purchase of buses to transport children to support schools, the equipment of science and mathematics classrooms, and the development of inclusive education. The corresponding funds are included in the state budget for 2018.

Thus, UAH 200 million is earmarked for the purchase of buses for support schools, UAH 441.101 million for science and mathematics classrooms, and UAH 509 million for supporting the education of children with special educational needs.

Each of these educational programs also receives funding from local governments. Thanks to this, in 2017, buses, science classrooms and support for the education of children with special needs were financed by almost 1 billion 330 million UAH, of which 621.188 million UAH - additional funding from local budgets, 709.5 million - funding provided for in the 2017 state budget.

We would like to remind you that the 2018 budget also included significant funds for the start of the New Ukrainian School reform: almost UAH 1 billion (998.7 million) for providing primary school students with educational materials and mobile furniture, UAH 163 million 818 thousand for the purchase of equipment for primary schools, 386, 5 million - for teacher training, 272 million 382 thousand - textbooks for the 1st grade. Also, 48 million 349.5 thousand is provided for the purchase of educational and methodical literature for primary classes.
