The Coordination Council for National-Patriotic Education was established under the Kyiv City State Administration and its composition was approved. Oleksiy Reznikov, deputy chairman of the KMDA, has been appointed as the head of the council.
According to the order of the KSDA No. 1346, the creation and functioning of the Coordination Council is intended to intensify the activities of local executive bodies, local self-government bodies and the activities of civil society institutions in the field of national-patriotic education; promote the implementation of elements of national-patriotic education in state authorities, local self-government, educational institutions, enterprises, institutions and organizations, as well as information and educational activities in the field of national-patriotic education in Kyiv.
The Coordinating Council on National-Patriotic Education will contribute to the strengthening of the formation of value orientations and civic self-awareness, the development of spiritual, moral and ethical culture, the popularization of the national spiritual and cultural heritage, the expansion of the scope of the Ukrainian language, the increase in the number of citizens who are proud of their Ukrainian origin and citizenship, and as well as those who are ready to fulfill the duty of protecting the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
