In Ukraine, a lot of money was spent on various educational projects. Interesting products were produced within them, but after the completion of the projects, these products are not used, and only a limited circle of teachers knows about them. This was noted by the Minister of Education Liliya Hrynevych during her participation in the "Digital Transformation of Education" forum.
According to the minister, the idea of the Ministry of Education and Culture is to collect the best practices and implement them for use in the mandatory program. Not as separate subjects, but so that they penetrate other subjects and through them form relevant competencies.
"It is important that we not only talk, but also act. We opened a platform for public discussion and work on improving programs. In the summer, it was work on elementary school programs, now it's the turn of elementary school. If you know of interesting materials that can be adapted for use in schools in this way, please suggest them, we are always open to such suggestions," the minister emphasized.
She also said that the process of updating basic school programs will be transparent and open to the public.
The discussion will take place in several stages. After each of them, an updated document will be put up for discussion, as well as comparative tables showing the proposals that were taken into account, as well as the proposals that were not taken into account, with all the relevant justifications.
