"MKT Trade" LLC sold more than a hundred computers to the Berdyansk Department of Education, some of which turned out to be a gift from the People's Republic of China. It is reported Our money.

In particular, it is reported that on August 21, the education department of the Berdyansk City Executive Committee concluded an agreement with Zaporizhzhia "MKT Trade" regarding the purchase of 110 computers (100 for students, 10 for teachers) for ten schools for UAH 0.90 million.

The publication found out that the market prices of computers are lower. Yes, a PC for a teacher can be purchased for UAH 7,782, while educators bought it for UAH 9,000, and a computer for a schoolchild can be purchased for UAH 6,732, and they bought it for UAH 8,109. That is, the difference between the market price and the price at which the equipment was purchased with budget funds from MKT Trade is about UAH 150,000. or almost 15% of the order amount.

By the end of September, office equipment was installed in Berdyansk schools. According to the publication, a large part of the computers turned out to be used and without licensed software.

At the same time, some of the purchased computers have "Gift of the People's Republic of China to Ukrainian schoolchildren" stickers.

"This may mean that this equipment was received as part of humanitarian aid from the people of China, which means that it cannot be sold or bought," writes journalist Serhiy Starushko.

The publication contacted the heads of educational institutions that received computers, but they refused to meet with journalists and show the PCs. The Berdyansk police department reported that information on the quality of computers is being checked. However, the education department did not confirm this information and reported that they do not know anything about the interest of law enforcement officers in the tender. The department assured that all computers are installed and working normally.
