The Ukrainian government has announced a program to support the IT industry. The idea belonged to people's deputies-IT experts who went to the parliament. Yes, the former head of an IT company, and now a people's deputy, Oleksiy Skrypnyk, convinces that programming languages may be more necessary for current students than foreign ones, because even in a crisis, this industry is the only one that is growing.
Currently, in Ukrainian schools, computer science is studied from the second grade. In particular, children are taught to draw. In the 11th grade of the Metropolitan Lyceum of Information Technologies, graduates are working on a joint project-game "School".
It should be noted that the Ministry of Education is preparing changes to the school curriculum. In the parliament, they hope to see programming instead of computer science in the schedule at the beginning of the new school year. We will remind that the Ministry of Education intends to reduce the number of specialties in higher educational institutions.
