A three-day meeting of the Council of Europe's educational policy committee took place, from March 17 to 19, at which issues of development and priorities of European education were discussed. Also, questions were raised regarding the events taking place in Ukraine.
In order to support initiatives in Ukraine and provide assistance in the implementation of educational reform, the Council of Europe on educational policy allocated funds for projects in the field of general secondary and higher education.
Oksana Kovalenko, the chief specialist of the department of general secondary and preschool education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, was elected to the Bureau of the Committee on Education Policy.
The Bureau includes 8 people representing 50 member states of the Council of Europe.
