Regarding the excessive number of control tests for schoolchildren, MES

An excessive number of control and test papers is not the best way to assess the knowledge acquired by students in the rather stressful conditions of distance learning.

This was stated by the Minister of Education and Science, Serhii Shkarlet, after talking with schoolchildren during a visit to the International Children's Center "Artek".

According to him, it was useful for him to hear the opinions of the children, who told the minister about a significant amount of homework and tests.

"In this matter, a balance must be maintained so as not to transfer all responsibility for studying one or another subject to schoolchildren. In addition, there are many forms of monitoring the knowledge learned by students based on interactive approaches," the Minister of Education noted.
