- Deadlines for submitting documents
Starting from July 11, applications and documents will be accepted from entrants in paper or electronic form. The deadline for accepting the above-mentioned documents from entrants to full-time education based on full general secondary education ends at 12:00 on August 1, and for those entrants who are interviewed, the deadline for submitting documents is July 24 at 6:00 p.m. Interviews and entrance exams are held from July 25 to August 1. And for those persons who have to pass creative competitions for admission to higher education institutions, the deadline for submitting documents is July 24. Creative contests are held in several sessions from July 21 to August 1.
Persons entering higher education institutions based on basic general secondary education must submit the necessary documents by July 24. Entrance exams are held from July 25 to August 1.
Persons entering the higher education institution under the abbreviated program of training specialists of the educational and qualification levels of junior specialist and bachelor must submit the necessary documents by 6:00 p.m. on July 24. Professional entrance exams will be held from July 25 to August 1.
The deadlines for submitting applications and documents for studying in the evening and extramural forms of education are determined by the Admission Rules, namely no more than one month. Enrollment is carried out no later than 15 days after the end of receiving applications and documents, during which competitive selection is carried out.
- Specifics of submitting documents
Documents are submitted to universities in paper or electronic form. The application in paper form is submitted by the entrant in person to the admissions committee of the educational institution.
Submission of application(s) by an entrant at the educational and qualification levels of junior specialist and bachelor, it is possible to submit documents in paper or electronic form to no more than five higher educational institutions of Ukraine and to no more than three areas of training (for three specialties) in each of them. It should be noted that applications submitted for a certain direction of training (specialty) to one university, but for different forms of education, are considered the fact of submitting one application.
In the case of submitting documents to one university, the applicant indicates the priority of each direction of training (specialty).
If, when submitting documents for obtaining the educational qualification level of a specialist or a master's degree, the entrant does not have an appendix to the diploma in printed form, the admissions committee receives information about this appendix (its content) from the Unified Electronic Database for Education.
Please note that only external independent evaluation certificates issued in 2014, or certificates or their duplicates issued in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008, will be accepted.
Applications in electronic form must be submitted only to those entrants who have expressed a desire to participate in the competitive selection on the basis of a certificate of complete general secondary education, a certificate (certificates) of external examination in competitive subjects.
Entrants who scored less than 124 points in a specialized subject are not allowed to participate in the competitive selection (persons who scored less than 124 points in a non-specialized subject may also not be admitted to the competitive selection, provided that the specialized subject is a creative competition).
The average score of the certificate of complete general secondary education entered into the Unified Base on a 12-point scale is automatically converted into a 60-point scale using the coefficient "5".
The amount of additionally accrued points is set:
– persons awarded with diplomas of the first degree – 50 points;
- persons awarded II degree diplomas - 40 points;
- persons awarded with diplomas of the III degree - 30 points.
The champions and prize-winners (those who took 1st-3rd place) of the championships of Ukraine held during the last two years are additionally awarded points:
– champions of Ukraine – 50 points;
- 40 points for persons who took 2nd place at the championship of Ukraine;
- 30 points for persons who took 3rd place at the championship of Ukraine.
Information about the winners of the IV stage of the All-Ukrainian student Olympiads and the III stage of the All-Ukrainian contests-defenses of scientific and research works of students-members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is entered by the Institute of Innovative Technologies and Educational Content of the Ministry of Education and Science to the Unified State Electronic Database on Education until July 1.
– Ratings of entrants of 2014
The publication of the ranked list of entrants, who enter on the basis of basic and complete general secondary education, with the indication of those recommended for admission to the places of the state order, takes place no later than 12:00 o'clock on August 2.
The updated list of those recommended for enrollment will be published no later than 12:00 p.m. on August 5 (after the end of the first period for applicants to choose a place of study).

- Selection of entrants to the place of study
On August 4, at 6 p.m., the first period for students to choose a place of study ends.
On August 7, at 6 p.m., the second period for students to choose a place of study ends.
On August 10, at 6 p.m., the third period of choosing a place of study for entrants ends.
- Enrollment of entrants
For full-time education based on basic and full general secondary education, there will be:
August 11 no later than 3:00 p.m. - by state order;
August 18 - at the expense of individuals and legal entities (subject to the fulfillment of the state order of the relevant field (specialty));
Acceptance of documents from persons enrolling in abbreviated training programs for specialists at the junior specialist and bachelor's educational qualification levels will end at 6:00 p.m. on July 24. Professional entrance tests are held from July 25 to August 1.
