A delegation from Ukraine visited the Kingdom of Belgium and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in order to study the experience of these countries in the organization of professional education.
To the authorized delegation included Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Kvit, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Science and Education Liliya Hrynevych, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Pavlo Polyanskyi, Head of the Vocational and Technical Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Vyacheslav Suprun, Director of Educational Programs of the International Charitable Foundation "Renaissance" » Heorhiy Kasyanov, President of the International Educational Policy Research Fund Taras Finikov.
The Ukrainian delegation was met and kindly received by representatives of state and local authorities, as well as educators from Brussels, Antwerp and Leeuwarden.
The main questions the meetings were: interdisciplinarity of vocational education institutions, the connection of education with the labor market, the dependence of institutions on state policy, as well as the principles of making important decisions by all interested parties (stakeholders). This experience will contribute to the reform of vocational education in Ukraine.
Note that there is a Ukrainian delegation in the Netherlands was from November 18 to 22, 2014, the purpose of which was to study the European experience in the organization and functioning of vocational education, because their European system of vocational and technical education is considered one of the most effective.
