This year's admissions campaign has undergone serious changes that require the applicant to be extremely attentive and prudent.

Thus, starting with the 2015 admission campaign, the MES introduced the principle of prioritizing applications for admission to higher educational institutions.

The principle is that applicants will be able to submit a maximum of 15 applications (to 5 higher education institutions, for 3 specialties each). At the same time, entrants will have to determine the level of priority of submitted applications.

The automated system, formed in the Unified State Electronic Database on Education, will check the possibility of admission for each of these applications, starting with the first, comparing the passing score with the actual number of points of the applicant. If the number of points is sufficient, he receives a recommendation for admission to the place of the state order, while the rest of the applications submitted by the applicant are automatically canceled.

If an applicant does not have enough points for admission in his first priority, the system will check his next priorities by analogy. The applicant will know the passing score for all his priorities and will understand why he did not pass for one or another of his priorities.

The prioritization system is designed to offer an optimal state order place for an applicant. When the lists of those recommended for enrollment in the state order will be formed, the applicant will be offered one place in the state order according to the highest of the priorities chosen by him, according to which he passes.

Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Culture published information about the reduction of funding of budget places until 20% in connection with the "demographic crisis".

The admissions campaign to higher educational institutions will begin on July 10.
