On December 8, 2014, the president of "Seed Forum Global" Steiner Korsmo, co-founder and chairman of the International Charitable Forum "Seed Forum Ukraine", founder and managing partner of the iHUB business incubator Dmytro Podolev visited the Lion City.
As part of the program, they visited the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and met with the rector, Professor Volodymyr Melnyk and university students.
Note that on November 18, 2014, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Ivan Franko Lviv National University and the Seed Forum Foundation (Kingdom of Norway) and the International Charity Forum Seed Forum Ukraine.
According to the President of "Seed Forum Global", close cooperation between the representatives of the "Seed Forum" foundation and the university and the city hall of Lviv will begin already this year. Also, during the morning meeting with Mayor Andrii Sadov, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, which provides for the opening of the iHUB business incubator in Lviv.
According to Dmytro Podolev, chairman of the International Charitable Forum "Seed Forum Ukraine", founder and managing partner of the business incubator iHUB, students of LNU named after Ivan Franko will have direct access to the iHUB business incubator, which will provide support, training, consulting, business education and the search for investors for small IT companies of Ukraine.
At a meeting with students of Steiner University, Korsmo fully disclosed information about all aspects of the foundation's activities and about innovative entrepreneurship and fund-raising basics. He qualitatively described the start-up environment, different categories of investors and investment principles, and also provided practical advice on what innovations and ideas need investment and how to attract them.
"In a short presentation, the optimal strategy is indicated - from a start-up to a profitable own business. We are actively working to ensure that the idea in combination with investments gives results. However, before its implementation, you need to think through all the details and prove its need and uniqueness on the market." Steiner Korsmo explained to the participants of the meeting.
As Dmytro Podolev noted, the main goal of iHUB is to help young specialists and future entrepreneurs in creating and developing their own business.
