Control over the submission of reports by the education management bodies of the regional and Kyiv city state administrations on educational activities in the fields of preschool, general education, vocational and technical and extracurricular education has been abolished.
This is stated in the Ministry's letters sent by December 31, 2014 (letter of the Ministry No. 1/9-29 dated January 23, 2015).
But some reporting still remained, and includes the following items:
1) inclusion of children (including disabled children) in general secondary education;
2) coverage of children with preschool education, expansion of the network of preschool educational institutions;
3) timely payment of wages to teaching staff;
4) search for pupils who voluntarily left boarding schools;
5) protection of housing, property and other rights of orphans and children deprived of parental care who are brought up in residential institutions;
6) implementation of the Concept of social adaptation of persons with mental retardation, approved by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers;
7) reforming residential institutions for orphans and children deprived of parental care.
