The quality of the distance learning organization has increased compared to the 2019/20 academic year.
This is stated in the report of the head of the State Education Quality Service, Ruslan Gurak, for 2021, which refers to relevant monitoring studies on the quality of distance education.
According to him, most participants of the educational process (seven out of ten) note that the quality of the organization of distance learning in 2021 has increased compared to the 2019/20 academic year.
“Teachers have been working hard to master remote technologies, often using communication software such as Zoom and Classroom (21%). A third of the surveyed teachers systematically used the materials posted on the platform for distance and mixed learning of students "All-Ukrainian School Online", the State Service of Education Quality notes.
At the same time, staying motivated during distance learning was a problem for many children. 44% teachers also noted that students are reluctant to engage in distance learning.
"However, the results of the calculation of the satisfaction index of consumers of educational services indicate that the problems of almost all categories of participants in the educational process, which appeared in the spring of 2020 with the transition to distance learning, were gradually resolved in 2021," the State Service emphasizes.
It is noted that for some students distance learning provided new opportunities, in particular, to work more at their own pace; take breaks when necessary, not at set times; to be in a comfortable space that satisfies sensory needs.
