A working meeting was held at the Ministry of Education and Science regarding the settlement and compliance with sanitary standards for student accommodation in dormitories under quarantine conditions.
This was reported in the press service of the department.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Andriy Vitrenko, People's Deputies Roman Hryschuk and Anna Purtova, Deputy Chairman of the KMDA Valentyn Mondryivskyi, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the State Production and Consumer Service and leading universities of Kyiv.
"The main task currently facing us is to find a clear algorithm of actions to solve all existing problems and create safe living conditions for every student," said Deputy Minister of Education Andriy Vitrenko.
The participants of the event reported on the current state of the settlement and the students' compliance with sanitary standards of living. They also discussed possible options for solving existing problems, in particular, attracting funding for personal hygiene products, carrying out periodic informational work for both students and dormitory workers, determining the course of action for university managers and students in case of suspected respiratory diseases, recommendations for provision of medical care for students from other cities.
The participants of the event have planned another working meeting based on the results of the settlement of first-year students.
