The management of the Sevastopol Seaport refused to hire graduates of the Faculty of Marine Technologies and Shipping of the Sevastopol State University with invalid diplomas.

As reported in the Sevastopol Seaport, the only recognized diplomas are documents issued at the branch of the Novorossiysk Academy, because "the standards of education there are appropriate."

Graduates of the university no longer expect to receive working documents, as well as to solve the issue of employment by profession. "Promises given before the New Year that the diplomas of the Sevastopol University would be recognized in the port preferred to be forgotten."

Sevastopol University also does not respond to the problem. Students of SevDU are already considering the possibility of transferring from the last year to study at a specialized higher education institution in Kyiv or Novorossiysk. "It is very unpleasant to study for several years, and on the eve of graduation, suddenly find out that everything is in vain. It turns out that the new management of the university simply "abandoned" us. After all, they were supposed to solve the problem. However, their work ended at the stage of "getting money for education", the students emphasize.
