On April 14, a press conference of the director of the Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education was held. Vadym Karandiy informed about the number of people registered to participate in the main session of the external independent assessment of 2016, and also told how to get an invitation-pass with the addresses of the points of the external independent assessment for testing in Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, history of Ukraine.
This year, 267,172 people are registered to participate in the testing. Of them, 200,510 are graduates of general educational institutions in 2016, for whom the results of an external independent assessment of the Ukrainian language and history of Ukraine or mathematics will be included as a grade for the state final certification. Last year, 288,977 people were registered to participate in the external independent assessment, 221,104 of them were graduates of general educational institutions in 2015.
The largest number of participants in the external evaluation were registered for passing the Ukrainian language and literature test - 267,006 people, Ukrainian history - 193,307 people, mathematics - 132,165 people. In 2015, there were 158,556 people willing to take tests in the history of Ukraine, and 146,792 people in mathematics. Compared to the previous year, the number of people willing to take the final examination in mathematics in 2016 decreased by 14,627 people. In 2016, the fewest participants will take the test in Spanish (186 people) and French (818).
From April 15, invitations-passes will be posted on the information pages of the participants indicating the addresses of the points of external independent assessment for testing in Ukrainian language and literature, mathematics, and the history of Ukraine. As in the previous year, holiday invitations will not be sent by post. Participants of the external independent assessment must independently print the invitation-pass from their information page on the website of the Ukrainian Center. The page is accessed by the certificate number and pin code specified in it.
Invitations-passes for passing the external examination for the remaining subjects will be posted on the information pages until May 30.
We remind you that the main session of external independent evaluation will begin on May 5 (Ukrainian language and literature) and end on June 17 (chemistry).
