The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology has asked the local education management bodies to verify the lists of schools located in the territory of villages - information about them is posted on the Ministry's website in the section Admission campaign 2018. The corresponding letter was sent today, May 30, 2018, to all departments and education departments and science of regional and Kyiv city state administrations. (in the appendix)

Verification of the lists is necessary so that during the admission campaign it is possible to check the legality of the entrant's use of the rural coefficient. The results of the inspection or information about changes should be sent by June 15 to the Directorate of Higher Education and Adult Education (01135, Kyiv, Prospekt Peremogy, 10) and to the e-mail address kernychna@mon.gov.ua

After clarification, the lists will be uploaded to EDEBO and a message about the possibility of applying the rural coefficient will automatically appear in the electronic offices of graduates of such schools. Also, the entrant will need to upload to the office a certificate of registration in rural areas of the prescribed format. (Appendix No. 13 to the resolution of the CMU dated March 2, 2016 No. 207).

We remind you that this year the rural coefficient can be used by entrants who have been registered in the villages for at least two years and who, in the year of entry, obtained a full general secondary education in schools located on the territory of the villages. It will be equal to 1.02 (for entrants from villages to agricultural specialties - 1.05).

At the same time, it should be noted that the rural coefficient does not apply to urban-type settlements.
