The Ministry of Community Development and the Ministry of Education and Science, together with the State Production and Consumer Service, will conduct random inspections of educational institutions in the regions for compliance with anti-epidemic rules.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal gave the corresponding order following the results of the conference call on combating COVID-19.
"At least 5 educational institutions in each oblast should be randomly checked. It is especially worth paying attention to schools located in remote areas, as the situation in regional centers is more or less stable," said the Prime Minister.
The head of the Government also instructed the heads of regional and district state administrations to take control of the situation in educational institutions.
The Prime Minister emphasized that based on the results of this inspection, the Government may adopt, in particular, personnel decisions.
The Cabinet of Ministers also reported that 149 cases of COVID-19 among children were detected in the last day.
