The Ministry of Education and Science together with the Naftogaz Group, UNICEF Ukraine and the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine will provide the points of external independent assessment, the unified entrance exam and the unified professional entrance test with the necessary protective equipment.
This was reported in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
It is planned that the points where the testing will take place will be equipped with medical masks, non-contact thermometers, disinfectants and protection for doctors.
According to the acting Minister of Education and Science Lyubomyra Mandziy, preserving the health of pupils, students and teachers is a key priority of the Ministry of Education.
"Thanks to the unified humanitarian aid coordination mechanism of the Office of the Vice-Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, we managed to attract partners and create safe and comfortable conditions for holding ZNO, EVI and EFVV", - said Lyubomyra Mandziy.
UNICEF Ukraine will involve the companies Unilever and Nova Poshta in providing protective equipment and delivery, and will also place informational materials and recommendations on compliance with hygiene rules at each testing point.
In total, the need for protective equipment has been provided for 1,714 points of ZNO, EVI, EFVV.
In 2020, 379,493 people will take part in the main session of the ZNO, and about 90,000 people will participate in the EVI/EFVV. During testing and exams, 242,650 workers and 11,630 doctors will be involved.
