Under the patronage of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the 2nd International competition for the best works on computer monitoring of the state of the environment of Ukraine among pupils and students began.
Participants of the competition can be persons under the age of 28 who have the status of a pupil or student of an educational institution.
Projects that have high social significance are original, as well as those that not only identified environmental problems, but also proposed solutions - are prioritized.
Works that were already winners of any other competitions (except the same last year's competition) can be sent to competitive selection.
Linking to specific real geographical objects of nature or sources of pollution with the indication of their coordinates or locations on maps of the territory of Ukraine is mandatory for all works.
Works must be registered through project site by April 20, 2015, by completing all the necessary steps of the instructions.
The announcement of the winners of the 1st round will take place on the day of environmental education - May 12, and the 2nd round will take place already on May 22, 2015, on the International Day of Biological Diversity.
The works are evaluated (I degree – one work, II – up to two works, III – up to three works) separately among pupils and students in three nominations (the number of nominations can be expanded by the decision of the jury and the organizing committee):
The winners of the II round (and their managers) will be awarded diplomas signed by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the leadership of the competition's organizing committee.
