The NGO "Parents' Council of the City of Kyiv" involves parents as official observers during the VET, which will take place on April 2 and 9, 2016 (trial VET), and, starting from May 5, 2016, the DPA and VET. This information was published by the public association on its website.

Public observers can be persons who have reached the age of 18 and are delegated by the subjects of public observation to carry out public observation of the conduct of the ZNO. The status of a public observer is granted to persons after their registration in the Ukrainian or regional centers for the assessment of the quality of education.

Public monitoring of the conduct of the ZNO is carried out by public organizations, parent committees, boards of trustees of educational institutions, mass media and is directly ensured through the activities of public observers delegated by subjects of public monitoring.
